Where to stay

Where to stay

Kos is full of beautiful spots to call home if you're planning on merging our wedding into a holiday! From quiet beach towns to vibrant hubs with restaurants and nightlife. Here are some lovely areas to consider for your stay, all within reasonable distance from our venue at Cavo Greco in Kefalos:

You can book package holidays or villas depending on your preference. We have found that package holidays tend to be a bit cheaper for couples/small groups as the flights are included.

Kefalos

Our wedding venue is right here, so it's the most convenient option. A charming coastal village with relaxed vibes, crystal-clear beaches, and traditional tavernas. Perfect if you want to be close to the action but still enjoy a laid-back holiday.

Kardamena

Around 25–30 minutes by car from the venue, Kardamena is a bustling beach town with a wide range of hotels, restaurants, and bars. It’s a great choice for those looking for more energy, social buzz, or family-friendly resorts with lots to do.

Tigaki

Known for its long sandy beach and calm, shallow waters, Tigaki is about 40–45 minutes from Kefalos. It’s peaceful, easygoing, and ideal for a relaxed beach break with beautiful sunset views and casual seafront dining.

Marmari

Just next door to Tigaki, Marmari has a similar feel, wide beaches, soft sand, and a quieter pace. If you’re looking for a more tranquil base with quick access to the coast, it’s a lovely option.

Psalidi

Located just outside Kos Town (around 50 minutes from Kefalos), Psalidi offers a mix of beach resorts and natural beauty, including coastal walks and a nearby thermal spring. Ideal for those wanting a balance of quiet and access to the island’s main town.

Lambi

On the edge of Kos Town, Lambi is lively and well-connected, with lots of restaurants, bike paths, and beach bars. It’s great for those wanting a more urban vibe while still being near the beach, about 50–55 minutes from the venue by car.

On the day

On the day

We’re still finalising the exact timings for the big day, but we’ll be sure to update this section and keep everyone in the loop, as soon as it’s all confirmed.

As a rough guide, ceremonies in Kos typically begin around 6:00 PM, once the heat of the day has eased and the golden evening light begins to set the scene. You can expect a relaxed, romantic celebration as the sun dips over the sea.

To make things as easy as possible, we’ll be organising coach transport for everyone, no matter where you're staying on the island. So there’s no need to worry about taxis, directions, or designated drivers, just get yourself ready and we’ll take care of the rest.

More details coming soon, but for now, just know that it’s going to be magical, and completely stress-free.
